Hi, I’m Jasmine! A Vancouver-based marketing consultant. This is my portfolio. It covers campaigns, site rebuilds, and rebrands across local professional services, grocery, quick-serve restaurants, apparel, and cannabis retail, among others. Built on 7+ years of running digital media strategy at one of Canada’s top 3 advertising agencies and

Grocery Brand, New Store Launch in Rural Market

Challenge:

A new grocery store opening in a rural town needed to reach local shoppers on a small campaign budget. Many shoppers were already loyal to a nearby competitor.

Solution:

I built a digital display campaign that only reached people living within 5km of the new store, so every dollar went toward people close enough to actually shop there. Afterward, I measured how many people who saw the ads went on to visit the store, comparing them to a similar group who hadn't seen any ads at all, to see if the campaign actually drove foot traffic.

Result:

The campaign beat industry benchmarks for getting people through the door, and it worked so well it became the model used for other small town store openings after this one.

Bottom Line:

“A smaller marketing budget just means every dollar has to be aimed more carefully” - Jasmine Braun, Braun Marketing

Quick-Serve Restaurant, Offering a New Product

Challenge:

The brand was falling behind a competitor with a much stronger hold on breakfast. They needed real return, not just attention.

Solution:

I built an audience targeting model based on the exact kind of customer that competitor already had, then focused ads in the specific areas where that competitor was strongest. The campaign ran everywhere: digital out-of-home, display, video, and social, all aimed at that same audience.

Result:

Sales beat targets, visits climbed well above what was planned, and the results held for months after the campaign ended.

Bottom Line:

“Getting the target audience right first is what makes every channel after that work harder.” - Jasmine Braun, Braun Marketing

Local Professional Practice, Full Site Rebuild

Challenge:

The site needed to speak more clearly to the exact clients the practice most wanted to work with.

Solution:

I reviewed the site's tone, voice, and audience closely, and found it was trying to appeal to everyone, including clients who weren't the best fit for the business. I rewrote the site to speak directly to the clients the practice actually wanted more of and strengthen its brand voice. I integrated search engine optimization (SEO) keywords naturally to increase local visibility as well.

Result:

A site that sounds like the real business, and naturally draws in the right client first.

Bottom Line:

“A site that sounds like a template attracts whoever's nearby. A site that sounds like the business itself attracts the right person.” - Jasmine Braun, Braun Marketing

Global Apparel Brand, Giving a Client Their Time Back

Challenge:

Media plans across multiple markets needed vendors, contracts, and timelines managed simultaneously. This meant a lot could go wrong at once, and the client didn't have time to manage every moving piece themselves.

Solution:

I planned ahead instead of reacting, stayed proactive with vendors and timelines, and gave the client honest updates the moment anything shifted, so they were never caught off guard.

Result:

Plans ran on schedule across every market, and the client got their time back to focus on running the business instead of chasing details.

Bottom Line:

“Good marketing planning isn't just about the campaign going well. It's about giving the client back the time and space to run their own business.” - Jasmine Braun, Braun Marketing

Quick-Serve Restaurant, Loyalty for Less Spend

Challenge:

A campaign was driving attention, but the brand wanted to see spend tied to loyalty and retention, not just impressions.

Solution:

I proposed shifting the campaign to a cost per acquisition (CPA) model, so the brand only paid when someone actually downloaded their mobile app. This kept the focus on building loyalty and repeat visits instead of one-time reach, and made every dollar spent easier to justify.

Result:

Spend stayed tied directly to real customer growth, not just views.

Bottom Line:

“I'd rather give honest advice about what's actually worth paying for than chase numbers that look good but don't build anything lasting.” - Jasmine Braun, Braun Marketing

Skincare Brand, Taking Over Mid-Campaign

Challenge:

The previous marketer left with no handover, no notes, and campaigns already running. On top of that, the client didn't have a marketing background and needed to actually understand what was happening with their account, not just receive a report.

Solution:

I taught myself the account from the ground up and picked up campaigns mid-flight without losing momentum. I built simple dashboards for the client and walked them through the numbers in plain language, so they could see what was working without needing a marketing background of their own.

Result:

The account kept running smoothly, with nothing dropped during the transition. The client left actually understanding their own results.

Bottom Line:

“Sometimes the job isn't starting fresh, it's keeping things moving while everything shifts around you, and making sure the client is never confused whether their marketing strategy is still working.” - Jasmine Braun, Braun Marketing

Grocery Brand, Holiday Family Campaigns

Challenge:

Every grocery competitor runs some version of the same holiday message, at the exact time of year shoppers are most bombarded with ads.

Solution:

I worked on a holiday campaign built around family and connection instead of products. It leaned into togetherness during a harder time, showing a family sharing their own groceries with another family. Both ran across in-store displays and online.

Result:

A campaign that felt different from the noise around it, by being genuinely warm instead of just loud.

Bottom Line:

“In a saturated market, the ad that feels human is the one that actually gets noticed.” - Jasmine Braun, Braun Marketing

Building a New Brand and Website

Challenge:

Launch a business with no existing traffic, no domain history, and a brand that didn't exist yet.

Solution:

I built the brand voice, site structure, and search engine optimization (SEO) foundation together as one connected system from the start. I researched the keywords a real client would search, then integrated them naturally into the site copy. I set up tracking for the actions that matter most: discovery call clicks, form submissions, and newsletter signups.

Result:

A site where every visit can be traced back to real measurable engagement.

Bottom Line:

“Tracking and ranking for the right actions is what turns a website into a working part of a small business, not just a digital brochure.” - Jasmine Braun, Braun Marketing

Cannabis Retail, Marketing in a Newly Regulated Market

Challenge:

Strict, changing laws around cannabis advertising limited what channels and messaging were legally available. Clients were focused on making product and policy decisions and needed their marketing explained simply.

Solution:

I found an ad platform with proper cannabis-compliant targeting, brought it back with a clear, simple case for why it worked within the rules, and got it approved. The campaign that followed ran across digital, display, native, and video, all built around helping people move toward the legal market. I managed the whole account, from vendors to weekly reports to results, so the client could stay focused on running their business.

Result:

A campaign that worked confidently within rules the rest of the industry was still figuring out.

Bottom Line:

“In a restricted industry, my job is finding a marketing approach that works confidently within the rules already in place, so the client doesn't have to worry about their marketing crossing a line.” - Jasmine Braun, Braun Marketing
